Welcome!  My name is Stefanie and this is BP Studio. 

Starting a business has is challenges, but I’m starting one in Michigan.  You know, the place with yummy fudge and a plummeting economy?   I have nothing if not impeccable timing.  But I’ve tried my hand at the corporate thing and it isn’t my bag, baby!  I’ve still got one foot in the day job door (pesky little things like paychecks and medical insurance keep me coming back for more) but I am using my extra time to develop the fun stuff!  

BP Studio actually started out in my head as Brooks Photography, which comes from my middle name (Brooke) and the nickname my dad gave me as a kid (Brooksie).  He still calls me that today and I love it as much as I did back then.  Through some research, domain name searches, and other monotonous business tasks, I decided on shortening it and calling myself BP Studio.  Thrilling story, I know.

As for me, I’m a passionate lover of God with a penchant for flat shoes and kitchen accessories.  I have 4,000+ songs on my iPod.  I cook from scratch when I can, fake it when I can’t.   Clearance sales really float my boat.  I taught myself to play the guitar and then forgot.   I speak in accents.  I like puppies but not kitties.  I drink gobs of Mountain Dew.  I play several sports and I would not classify my level as “strong to quite strong” (name that movie).  Oh, and I quote movies.  A lot.  Using the aforementioned accents. 
 
For now, this blog is filled with personal stuff because I don’t have a lot to show in the form of pictures or graphics.  I’m basically posting it as I get it, so to fill the spaces in between I will try and provide good fodder for poor time management (i.e. sitting at your desk reading this instead of doing actual productive work).
